Boiling public anger against President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is far from over as worried Ghanaians have lined up more demonstrations against his administration for protecting corrupt public officials. One of such demonstrations would be staged by Justice Yeboah, a concerned citizen of Ghana, who is clearly furious about the appointment of Kwame Owusu, former boss of Ghana Maritime Authority (GMA) as the Board Chairman of the Board of the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA). Mr Yeboah has described the appointment of Kwame Owusu to the GRA high office by President Akufo-Addo as dangerous to the nation since the former GMA boss is yet to be absolved of the famous financial scandal surrounding his renovation of the official bungalows. “This one-man demonstration is to show my displeasure about President Akufo Addo’s decision to appoint Mr Kwame Owusu as the new Board Chairman of the Ghana Revenue Authority,” he asserted. Against this backdrop, the citipressonline.com can report that Mr Yeboah has sent a notice to the Acting Inspector General of Police of Ghana Police Service of his intention to stage a protest. He has also copied the Greater Accra Regional Police Commander. Read below his statement to the Police. P.O BOX AN 15153 Accra. 0543746794. email yeboahjustice33@gmail.com. 31st July, 2019.
