Ghanaians have sent a strong signal to President Nana Addo Dnakwa Akufo-Addo that he would be voted out of power in 2020 general elections because he has failed abysmally to deliver on his unprecedented electoral promises to Ghanaians.
The angry Ghanaians made this declaration when they came out in their thousands to hit the major streets of Accra today to protest against the heavy hardship unleashed on suffering Ghanaians by the President.
The demonstration, which dubbed “Kum Ye Preko” meaning kill us at once, include business owners, car dealers, importers and exporters, bankers, hairdressers, seamstresses, commercial drivers, fishermen and boat owners, professional journalists and media practitioners, spare parts dealers and kayaye.
Other protesters include political parties such as the NDC, PNC, CPP, ACP, RP, DFP and known supporters of the ruling NPP.
The massive demonstrators who clad in black and red are seeing carrying placards that read “Akufo-Addo has failed, fix your mess, Akufo-Addo stop torturing journalists now, Nana? Never again, where are the jobs? Where are the factories King Promise? Why borrow ghc80 billion in 2years? Menzgold customers deserve better, SKO-PA-TO MANA GOVT No Sense, #drop that chamber, bring NAM 1 to Ghana and Nana is Tyrant just”.
